Dynamic Lightning LFML too bright

Recommended Posts

Hello Stefan,

This is indeed not normal. Have you tried deleting your shaders cache? How much are your "brightness" and "bloom" settings in the HDR / Lighting options?

You can also try the enclosed file, to see if there is any improvement (to install into your effects folder).

Best regards,
Thomas

Hello,

the file is for LFRS Nantes, I renamed it do LFML, but nothing helps (the original LFML file renamed to .off of course)

Brightmess: 0.8

Bloom: 0.0

Note: The Lights in LFRS are really ok!

Any idea?

Regards Stefan

Hi Stefan,

You can try regenerating your shaders cache. This might solve this issue.
Go to C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Shaders   and delete the “shaders” folder. Next time you’ll start your P3D V4, shaders will be regenerated (this can take a few minutes). No harm will be done to your P3D.

Please  let me know if there is any improvement.

Best regards,
Thomas
