iFlysimX 93 Report post Posted August 31, 2017 Hello Jennasoft! Do we expect and update for LFLL to be compatible with P3D V4? Thank you!
jennasoft 4 Report post Posted September 4, 2017 Hi, the actual version will not be compatibe but Lyon v2.0 will be for FSX and P3D v4 and we'll find a way to make this update an acceptable price for owners of version 1.0/1.1. We are waiting for the new terminal to be completed. We also have to wait for a good available satelite imagery.
iFlysimX 93 Report post Posted September 13, 2017 So this may take months then, right? How long to you think? Merci!
jennasoft 4 Report post Posted September 13, 2017 Hi, yes, it will take months. I would say more than a year. Let be realistic. The new Terminal(called Terminal 1 Hall B ) has already opened but will be fully functionnal only on Summer 2018. At the best, we could expect that all jetways are in position on Spring 2018. From there, we'll have to wait months before a good satelite imagery is available. Keep in mind we don't only need the first one available, but one without too many clouds, good colors, and so on... Once the new ground made(1-2 months), there are two options : - just modelling the new Hall B and a 2 or 3 others small new buildings, and using the all already made. It could save time but some people may complain that some textures should have been refreshed. - or retexturing all buildings already made with the actual texturing techniques...but adding some months again to the developpment. As always in Flight Simulation, everything is about making compromises.

Could you charge for a p3dv4 update to get the old scenery released soon and expansion next year after the terminal opens? 1 DoverEightMike reacted to this

jennasoft 4 Report post Posted November 5, 2017 Hi all, Yes, we are looking on a way to first make and release an updated FSX and P3Dv4 compatible ground for free, as many of you have been waiting for it for a long time. A new version with the new terminal and some new features on the old buildings, would then be released one year later, this time with an extra cost for old customers. Maveric 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2018 Hello, do you want to update, even paying the Lyon LFLL scene? With the new terminal, taxi, parking, track number etc ... Thank you for your reply. Cordially.
jennasoft 4 Report post Posted September 14, 2018 Hi, actually, I already began the updating work on taxiways. The result will be available for free. As already said, the complete update with the new terminal will be payware, but with a lower price for customers of the first version.
Maveric 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2018 Thank’s for your reply. No problem for me for payware, with the work for update this airport. What is the delay for the realised approximatively?

And will we be able to purchase the update as a new product, or just the new version when it is ready? LFLL is dearly missed from my sim!
jennasoft 4 Report post Posted September 15, 2018 Tawiways update for FSX will consist in a few files freely available to download, while version 2.0 with new buildings and texturing for FSX as for P3Dv4 should be on sale as a stand alone product. So far, we cannot guarantee the pricing policy because it has to be discuted with Simmarket staff. And the priority is now to provide a free taxiways update for FSX customers. But be sure there will be a P3v4 version.
