FSX mulitcore performance

Recommended Posts

you need to check how many threads are active first . this CPU has 4 cores and 4 threads if you have all this active the setting would be

[JOBSCHEDULER]

AffinityMask=244

but you need to be sure that all the threads are active before you add the line

you can just copy and paste the lines to the very top or very bottom of your FSX.CFG

How do I know if my threads are active?

trouble with bjotes tweaking tool is it removes to much of the cfg, my CFG, Before bjotes gave me 197.1fps useing aerosoft EGLLL PMDG 747 REX/GEX/UTX after useing bjotes went down to just 64.1 and was glitchy

So you had a bad experience with them?

I don't think they expected a formula 1 of a computer, most people don't achieve those frames.To be true, you need to tell me your computer specs, because I cannot understand how you can get nearly 200FPS at EGLL in the PMDG 744 with REX! What are your scenery settings? I think that is a bit weird.
